Boys Varsity Golf · BV Boys Golf Starts Season Strong

The boy’s varsity golf team started their season this week with tournaments on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Tuesday they competed in the first MSL tournament of the year at Westchester Golf Club. The team shot 334 and was lead by Mitchell Lucas who shot 75. Also contributing to the total was Reese Cramer with an 83, Ben Brown with an 87 and Carter Stried who shot 89. The team finished 4th out of 5 teams.

On Wednesday the team competed in the Mike Nesselroad Invitational at Oakhaven Golf Club. The boys shot 319 and finished in 2nd out of 11 teams behind Delaware Hayes who shot 305. Mitchell Lucas led the way again by shooting 76 and Jevin Beard was close behind with a 78. Adding to the scoring was Reese Cramer who shot 81 and Jack Huston with an 84.
