Athletic Director

I will be starting my third year leading the Buckeye Valley High School Athletic Department. My background spans multiple educational and athletic venues to bring with me a wealth of experience and knowledge to Buckeye Valley. Last year was a great year for Baron Athletics, we look to continue the tradition and build upon our successes.

Prior to becoming Athletic Director, I was the Dean of Students at Delaware Hayes High School where I had the opportunity to be a part of students’ overall educational experiences. During this time, I worked closely with both students and members of the teaching staff covering a wide range of academic and social aspects. In addition to my Dean of Students role, I also found time to coach baseball at Worthington Kilbourne High School. Lastly, I have spent a number of years as the head baseball coach at Delaware Hayes as well as my alma mater St. Francis DeSales High School.

I truly believe athletics and education go hand in hand and feel that the overall experience of high school is enhanced with the participation in extracurricular activities. I have served as a teacher for nearly 15 years before taking on a more active administrative role and I’m excited for this opportunity. My years of coaching multiple sports, ranging from girls basketball to high school golf, have provided me with a gamut of experience to help support the Baron Athletic Programs.

My wife Maegan and I, along with our two sons Major (8) and Blaise (5) live in the Buckeye Valley School District. We welcome you to the Baron experience and look forward to a long-lasting relationship.
